Blue Planet Beach House Rules

 

  • Check out time is 11 am, check in at 3 pm.

 

  • Trash pick up is Tuesday and Friday morning, please put trash in plastic trash cans and leave on the road by the left side of the gate on Monday and Thursday evening. 

 

  • Please rinse sand off at the outside shower/ faucet before entering house.

 

  • Waste water goes to septic tank, please don't flush unnecessary objects.

 

  • Please wash dishes when leaving.  Leave all furniture where you found it.
  • No Parking on the street in front of the fence, please do not block access for the neighbors.  Please park on gravel driveway only.

 

  • This is a private neighborhood, please respect the quiet and peaceful atmosphere.  No noise after 9 pm and absolutley NO PARTIES allowed.  Small get-togethers with 10 people or less are OK, but no noise after 9 pm, please. This rule is stricly enforced and a $300 penalty fee will be charged for not following this house rule.  No tents or large items allowed in front yard.  Please store bikes, surfboards or other large items under or behind the house.

 

  • You are welcome to use the gas BBQ grill, please clean the grill after use, a spare gas can may be under the house if gas runs out.

 

  • You are welcome to use any food or condiments in the kitchen, please do not change refrigerator setting and make sure everything is turned off when leaving house.

 

  • The TV will play DVDs only, you are welcome to watch the movies in the house, movie rentals are available at Foodland.

 

  • There is no phone line, however, most cell phone networks have a strong signal at the house and if you have a laptop with a wireless network card, you may be able to log into the neighbor's wireless network. There is also a internet cafe next to Foodland with low rates.



 Directions:


We reccommend printing out these directions, especially if you plan to arrive at night.  Some guests have spent lots of time searching as there are no street names on the gravel cul de sacs.

 

Direction to Ke Iki Road, Haleiwa, HI 96712

 

Start: Honolulu International Airport

 

  1. Take Interstate H1 West, drive 6.7 miles          

 

  1. Take the H2 exit 8A toward Mililani/Wahiawa, drive 0.7 mi.

 

  1. Merge onto H2 North, drive 7.1 mi.

 

  1. Take exit 8 toward Wahiawa, drive 0.3 miles

 

  1. Merge onto S Kamehameha Hwy, drive 8.5 miles

 

  1. Stay Straight to stay on the Haleiwa bypass.

 

  1. The bypass turns back into Kamehameha Hwy/HI-83, drive 4.7 mi. 

 

  1. Just after you pass Waimea Bay you will see FoodLand on you right.  turn left on the first left after FoodLand and take the immediate right onto Ke Iki road running parallel to the main Highway.  This turn off looks like a driveway and can easily be missed, the street signs are overgrown or non existent, sorry.  If you miss it, go back and make sure you take the first left after Foodland, just after the Sharks Cove parking area and basketball courts.

 

  1. Go past the first two cul des on the left and take the third left, heading toward the beach.  There is a white storage shed at this corner and a hand written no parking sign, no street sign.

 

  1. The house is the third house on your right, look for the white mailbox and chainlink fence gate.  If you get to beach access at the end of this unpaved road, go back two houses. The neighbors have the same number ending with A, C, and D.

 

Key:  Make sure you have the code for the lockbox with you.  Go onto the porch and go around to the left and back, the door on the side of the house has the lockbox.  Punch in the code and pull tab to open the key box, if it does not open the first time, you will have to reset it and put in the code again.  Use the key to unlock the sliding door in the front of the house.  Please always remember to put the key back into lockbox.
